Another of the many former clearview theatres whose screens my wife and I would clean. I agree they were super small. Theres only so much you can do in a building that wasn’t big to begin with
I have only been in this theater once with my cousin to see Shaun The Sheep Movie on opening day, but when I saw the lobby, I was suprised at how nice and small it was for a Bow Tie Cinemas theater. The Bow Tie Cinemas theaters are very unique with their looks, I have also been in Landmark 9 in Stamford, to see The Angry Birds Movie. I have not seen any 3D movies at these places, but I have been to a lot of 3D movies.
I first was in this theater in the early 1980’s when it was a twin and it was fine this way. As a five plex, it feels like sitting in a small jet airplane to watch the film on a tiny screen.
Really cool place I saw on my bike ride today. The lettering is totally 60s and the facade is very Mod, and looks like the facade of the nearby Catholic Boys School in Chappaqua.
