Rex Theatre

The Rex Theatre was opened on May 12, 1917. It was equipped with a Seeburg pipe organ.It was operated by the same operators as the Colonial Theatre (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures). It was located on Main Street adjacent to Hayes Bowling Alley and shared space with a barber shop and on the second floor was the home of The Order of AHAPA.

The 600-seat Rex opened on May 12, 1917 - a new build facility for Charles H. Miller and Gus Vallas. It had a Seeburg pipe organ to accompany the silent films.
