John trust you will add the Perry to CT. A very interesting story. However, according to the University of Florida article I mentioned in a previous posting, the Perry only was active 1948-1949 and then it became a nightclub, The Cotton Club.
According to AI the Rose served the Pleasant Street African-American community “along side” the Lincoln. An article by the University of Florida indicates this northside community was serviced by the Rose and Lincoln theatres while the Perry was on the south side.
