Located in the Onehunga district to the south of Aukland city. Possibley opened in the 1920’s. The State Theatre was opened by 1948 when it was operated by the Amagamated Theatres Ltd. chain. It was still open in 1960.
By 2008 it was operating as an antique store, with the foyer in use as a laundry. By 2012 it was a Family Supermarket. That was shortlived as by 2014 it was a furniture store. In Mid-2018 it became the Emanuelu Christian Ministry.
