The Bond Theatre was an African American Theatre in post-War Houma, Louisiana. It was first listed and mentioned in the trade press in 1947. It was located at the confluence of Lafayette Street and Bond Street. That commercial and services area served a primarily African American community.

The Houma-Intercoastal-Waterway-Tunnel project in the early-1960’s eliminated street parking in the area and changed traffic patterns that disrupted its vitality. It is assumed that the Bond Theatre departed along with other businesses in that project’s path. That’s a bit of a guess as the local newspaper did not provide coverage of the venue.
