Air Dome

This early theater appears on the November 1909 Sanborn. It was located on a corner which had been an empty lot in 1905.

The enclosure was octagonal, and not terribly large. The stage/screen and entry were typical ‘tin-clad’ wooden structures.

This theater was not a success, and the June 1915 Sanborn shows the corner empty again. The location today is an old gas station that may date to around 1950-60. Note that while the theater was operating, Main St was known as 6th St.
