Located in the Neukolln district in the south of the city centre. The Excelsior Lichtspiele was opened in 1927. It was designed by architects Max Bishchoff & Henrich Moller in an Art Deco style. The facade was a plain frontage devoid of any decoration apart from a centrally place window with the theatre name sign at the top. Inside the auditorium seating was provided for 452-seats in the orchestra and 750-seats in the balcony. The proscenium opening had a lovely Art Deco surround which contained the pipe chambers for the organ (make unknown), while the ceiling was in a rounded barrel shape.

The Excelsior Lichtspiele was destroyed by Allied bombs in 1943. A petrol station now operates on the site.
