Fern Theatre

Located at the intersection of Franklin Avenue and N. Robertson Street in the northwest of the city. The Fern Theatre was opened by 1919. The building had a small tower on each side of the open plan entrance, in a design very similar to the Carrollton Theatre (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures). It was still open in 1926 with 600-seats It was listed in the 1932 edition of Film Daily Yearbook as (Closed) as a silent movie theatre with 750-seats.
