This was the second McKee Theatre to open in McKee, KY. (The first McKee Theatre has its own page on Cinema Theatres). This 2nd McKee Theatre was opened on June 5, 1947 It was later operated by Chakeres Theatres and closed on March 13, 1966 with Chris Noel in “Beach Ball”.
