I can find next to nothing about this derelict theater which I photographed in 2010. It appears to be a simple postwar design. It appears in the 1951 and 1952 Yearbooks with no capacity. Given the size of the town, and the tiny neighboring communities, it may have been too large for its market.
When I saw it, it was rather shabby, and had been used as the city shop at some point. It was demolished by 2024, and replaced with a giant metal shed.

According to information on a Flickr photo from 2016, this served as the community center before the new one was built across the street, and was used as a theater, run by volunteers. Not sure how accurate that is.
