Located in Knutsford, Cheshire on Tatton Street, close to the corner with Minshull Street. The front of the building was in a Tudor revival style. It was opened in the 1920’s. Around 1930 following a revamp it was equipped with a Western Electric (WE) sound system. In 1937, the Picture House was taken over by the operators of the newly built Marcliff Cinema, (today the Curzon Cinema, which has its own page on Cinema Treasures). The Picture House was still open in 1958, but had closed by 1963.

The Picture House went through several changes of use over the years; a health club and various nightclubs. It had been demolished by 2007 and an office building named Royal Court was built on the site and houses estate agents.
