The 1950 Film Daily Year Book listed the 150-seat Boron Theater in tiny Boron. In August 1950, Barstow’s Desert Dispatch noted that Pacific Coast Borax was upgrading the air conditioning at the Boron Theater.
In its last issue of 1957, Boxoffice magazine wrote that Bob Hilton had taken over the Boron Theater. It said he had contracted to build a 450-seat theater in the spring, and meanwhile was operating the Boron Theater on a Thursday-Monday schedule.
