The Times Theatre is located in the Lord Selkirk Park district to the north of Downtown. It opened in 1909 as the Royal Theatre. Later renamed Vons Theatre, by 1950 it had been renamed Times Theatre and was operated by the Western Theaters Ltd.chain. They were still the operators in 1950.
It later went over to live theatre use as the Community Players and Winnipeg Little Theatre.
Since at least 2007 the front of the building has been rendered plain with concrete, and it has been occupied by Fish Gallery selling Tropical & Salt Water fish.
