Located in the Norwood district to the east of Downtown. The Plaza Theatre was opened by 1941 when it was operated by the Western Theaters Ltd. chain. They were still the operators in 1950.
It had been demolished by 2007 when a gas station was operating on the site. That had been demolished by 2009 and the site was a vacant plot. In 2015 a block of apartments with office/retail use on the ground floor had been built.
