The Stardusk Drive-In opened in 1949, and could accommodate 680 cars. It was operated by Standard Theaters Management Corp. Its screen tower was large, and yellow, with the name of the drive-in spelled out in red letters.
The Stardusk Drive-In closed on September 3, 1984, and was torn down a decade later. There is now housing on the site.

The owner of the Stardusk in the early 1960s was Ted Gamble. Capacity was 620 cars at that time.
Approx. address for this drive-in was 4441 South 12th Street.
Went there many times in the ‘50s and '60s!
