Located in Ranson, just to the north of Church Town, WV. The Pitts Drive-In was opened around 1953, operated by Benjamin T. Pitts Ct. of Fredericksburg, VA. It was still open in 1955.
It had closed by 1974 and the site was in use as a trailer park. Housing has since been built on the site.

Found it, the address is 1213 N Mildred St, Ranson, WV.
The drive-in was located just on the north side of Charles Town, but Google Maps lists it in Ranson.
The drive-in appears intact and operational in a 1955 aerial. But by 1974 it was totally demolished and turned into a trailer park.
Today, it is a small housing edition with no trace of the drive-in remaining.

Judging by the look of the drive-in, it really does look like this was very short-lived.
