The Dodge Theatre opened June 8, 1935. It is one of the few independently-operated single-screen movie houses still open in Wisconsin. This old-fashioned theatre with a large screen screens first-run features and was one of the three movie theatres making up the Blutree Theatres chain (the Grantland Theatre in Lancaster and the Avalon Theatre in Platteville are the other two). It is now operated by State Theatres.
