The Palace opened around 1915, on Halsted Street near 18th Street in the then mostly-Czech (now mostly-Mexican) neighborhood of Pilsen. The theater sat just over 400. The Palace lasted as a movie house until around 1950, and later was converted over to retail use.
Today the building houses an art gallery, known as the Chicago Arts District Warehouse, an allusion to Pilsen’s growing reputation as the city’s new artists' colony.

Wrong theater. That would be the current Cadillac Palace
OK, sorry about that.
This theater possibly had a Seeburg photoplayer for accompanying silent films.
