During the 1970s, it was listed under the Wilson Century Theatres chain, who also operated four other drive-ins across Ontario.

According to the Canadian Film Digest from 1983, it was Odeon Theatres Canada (under the Canadian Odeon branding) that last operated the Peterboro. However, the Peterboro did not appear in the 1985 edition. It’s most likely that 1984 could be the Peterboro’s last season. The Peterboro housed 400 cars.

In 1948, it was owned by Park Drive-In Theatres then Peterborough Drive-In Theatres Ltd. in 1951 and 20th Century Theatres Corp. in 1963.

The actual address is 2657 Lakefield Rd, Lakefield, ON K0L 6X5, Canada. It was located in Lakefield but was just north of Peterborough on County Highway 29, not Water Street. Back then, it was known as Highway 28. Giant Tiger now occupies the former drive-in site, but a very small amount of traces can still be seen to this very day.
