The Lincoln Opera House opened in the the True Blue Hall in November 1917 by Leveque and Guilliford. The News Messenger reported films had been showing at the True Blue Hall since November 21, 1908.

A major downtown fire consumed the business district on November 23, 1919, taking the Lincoln Opera house with it.

William Zellner later built a Ford Car dealership on the site, which was later known as Wilson Ford and then Charles Reid Ford in 1964. That brick building can be seen in Lincoln today.
