Electric Park

This very basic airdome appears on the May 1912 Sanborn. It was located next to the YMCA, on what had been an empty lot in 1905.

Oddly, although the theater took up two lots, and what appears to be the projection booth was on the western half, a building at the rear which may have been the screen only occupied the eastern half.

This theater was operational on the November 1917 map. It may have been the ‘Electric Park’ listed in the 1914-15 AMPD. Later maps are not available online, but this was demolished long ago. The location is an unattractive little law office, and the vacant lot to the east.
