The Carmike Cinema 7 opened its doors on December 15, 1989 and closed on November 29, 2007.
On September 2, 1998, one of its auditoriums suffered damage from a vehicle accident after the driver was blacked out, before his 1996 Mercury Grand Marquis sped off the curb and slammed into the exterior of one of the auditoriums, injuring the 82-year-old male driver and his 80-year-old wife, and an estimate $23,000 in damages.
