The Danca Theatre was opened on June 1, 1947 with Alan Ladd in “Calcutta”. By 1969 it was operated by H.B. Meiselman Theatres chain.

It appears that this opened on June 1, 1947 with Alan Ladd in “Calcutta” but I could be wrong.
