The Linda Theatre was located on Main Street. It was a diminutive 150-seat venue for a town of about 400 people in the 1930’s/1940’s. The Linda Theatre was purchased by new operators in 1941 and they changed the name to the Sandy Theatre.
The New operators built a new larger ‘New’ Sandy Theatre which opened in the 1940’s (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures) and the Linda/Sandy Theatre was closed.
