Located in Takapuna, to the north of Auckland. The Foresters Hall was opened on 1st August 1914. It was closed in 1930. In 1931 it was reopened as the Gaiety Theatre. In 1968 it was renamed Tudor Theatre. It was closed as the Tudor Theatre on the Shore on 29th November 1998 and was demolished.
A new 4-screen Berkeley Cinema was opened on the site in 2001. (It has its own page on Cinema Treasures).
