Nearby Theaters
Located on the pier which extended over the estuary of the Nerang River and the Coral Sea. The Pier Pavilion was opened in 1926. It was taken over by the Thams Brothers in 1940 and renamed Pier Theatre in 1950. The Thams Brothers were still the operators in 1960.
Today the pier is in use as Southport Ferry Terminal, but the theatre is long gone.
