The Star Theatre was a small neighborhood house on Broadway in Watervliet, just across the Congress Street Bridge from Troy. It had opened by 1914. The cinema was a casualty of television, and was turned into an auto parts store. It remained as such until sometime in 2016, and has been sitting vacant and boarded since.
