This was the first Indiana Theatre to operate in the city (the other two have their own pages on Cinema Treasures as the Avenue Theatre and Indiana Theatre). Located in the African-American district on Indiana Avenue, the Walker Theatre was opened by Earl T. Walker on January 1, 1912. Walker also operated the Crown Theatre, also an African-American theatre. Just a month after opening, the Walker Amusements was in receivership and the theatre closed with notices in the newspaper.

Turner and Jones took on the venue on March 25, 1912 and it was renamed Union Theatre, keeping vaudeville with only a few films. New operators took over and it was renamed Indiana Theatre in October 1912 progaming burlesque. It was closed due to critial views in December 1912.

It was converted into a fraternal hall and has since been demolished.
