The Ace Theatre was built and opened in 1949 as an African-American theatre. It later became a regular theatre. It was granted a Local Landmark status in 2001. It was closed in 2010. It was used as a church and for community use. There were plans to restore the building, but the roof collapsed and the theatre was demolished.
