Located at the time of opening as being on Pineville Road. The South 21 Drive-in was opened by summer of 1949 with Bud Abbott & Lou Costello in “Africa Screams”. It was first operated by H.B. Meiselman chain. By 1952 it was operated by T.A. Little. By 1953 it was operated by Jack Wadsworth. By 1955 it was operated by Corbin Smith. It was still open in 1957, but had closed by 1958.
