There’s not a lot of information about this theatre. The 350-seat Star Theatre opened by 1926 and was still open in 1932. It was listed in the 1935 edition of Film Daily Yearbook as (Closed). Westernport is not listed in FDY’s until 1950 when it lists the 300-seat Welsh Theatre (said to have opened shortly after World War II). It was still open in the late-1960’s.
It was also unknown if both the Star Theatre and Welsh Theatre are two different theatres. Any additional information on this theatre would be greatly appreciated, and will be updated as soon as we get information.

The Star Theatre was still operational in the 1940s, judging by Piedmont and Cumberland area newspapers. The Welsh Theatre didn’t appear in Cumberland pages until after the war.
