The Majestic Theatre opened in 1914, suffered damage from a fire on February 15, 1930 which was later rebuilt, and was completely remodeled on December 27, 1937.
It was once operated by Floyd Lininger who was the one who did plans for its 1937 upgrade, including updated RCA High Fidelity sound and Celotex walls, and was later operated by W.M. Buchanan who also built the Keyser Theatre nearby in 1939.
The Majestic Theatre closed in the early-1960’s and was later demolished.
