The New River Drive-In was located just on the other side of the bridge in Jacksonville, North Carolina. It was operated by Victor Ventos. Like many ozoners, Hurricane Hazel badly damaged the New River Drive-In in 1954. But it was rebuilt. It was destroyed by Hurricane Donna in 1960.
