Movie Town became the area’s first multiplex opening on November 9, 1984 with “Oh God! You Devil”, “No Small Affair”, “Body Double”, “Thief of Hearts” and “Places in the Heart”. The four largest screens have over 200-seats each and the smallest screen has 122-seats.
The venue closed March 22, 2020 for the COVID-19 pandemic. On July 10, 2020, Movie Town reopened and was still operating in 2024.
