The Sackville Drive-In was opened on August 8, 1952. The 1959 Motion Picture Almanac included the Sackville Drive-In, listed under Lower Sackville. It was owned by Franklin and Herschorn Theatre Company Ltd. and held 580 cars.
The March 23, 1970 issue of Boxoffice reported that Famous Players Canadian Corp. had purchased the Franklin and Herschorn circuit, which included the Sackville Drive-In. It was demolished in 1985.
