Fleo's Flick's Drive-In

My father passed away in 2016, and along with my siblings Jeff and Kelly, dad taught us all about the times of drive-in movies, jukeboxes, records, old 35mm cartoons, old cars, and car shows. My dad really instilled the nostalgia of the 1950’s and 1960’s into his children. My father always had a party room that looked like you walked back in time. In October of 2021, my mother Pegge and I were discussing what to do with some property she owned a mile from Edgerton. That same month I set a plan and budget to build a drive-in theater with the goal of opening in 2022.

The people of Edgerton came together and allowed us to have the theater completed by June of 2022. Everything was built within a mile of the theater. The airer has a 225-car capacity with digital projection, concession, play area, and FM sound. We started with retro films, first showing “The Goonies” and “The Outsiders”. Fleo’s Flick’s Drive-In came about not only due to my father’s love of the 1950’s and 1960’s, but Fleo also happened to be my father’s nickname. He was not a tall man at only five foot seven, so growing up his friends always compared him to a flea. Since my dad’s name was Leo, the nickname Fleo was born. We couldn’t think of a better recognition than naming this theater after my father and showing tribute to his legacy.

A flea-market also operated on Sundays 9am-5pm
