This large and substantial airdome opened in 1904 as the Unique Theatre. It was renamed the Peoples Theatre sometime later that same year.
This theatre remained in operation at least through the Fall of 1905, but at some point was demolished to allow the construction of a permanent theater building which was initially also known (or intended to be) by the same name.
