The Ciudadela was possibly opened as a live theatre in the 1900’s. There is a book that logs all of the cinemas in Buenos Aires over the years and is not listed. The decorative facade has the name in stone at the top, with a more recent name plate above which states ‘Cinema’.
Since at least 2013 it has operated as an adult cinema.
