The Royal Theatre opened its doors on June 5, 1937 with George Brent in “God’s Country and the Woman” along with the Looney Tunes cartoon “The Village Smithy”. The Royal Theatre ran films on most weekends only, with live performances on Wednesdays.
The Royal Theatre closed in 1941.
