Located in Galway, County Galway. The Silent Cinema and Film Studio is a conversion of a former retail building. It was opened on 19th August 2022 with a silent documentary film “The Birth of Cinema” made in 2021. It has a small narrow entrance with a small hanging sign over it giving the Silent Cinema name, with a cartoon face of Charlie Chaplin. The cinema only screens classic silent films which are all accompanied by a live piano. The Silent Cinema has a wine bar for refreshments.
