The Palace Theatre was first listed in the 1929 edition of Film Daily Yearbook as a silent movie theatre, operated by the Young Amusement Company (V.U. Young) out of Gary, IN. It was still listed as a silent movie theatre in 1931, but was listed as (Closed) in 1932. No seating capacity or address was given.
