This theatre was constructed around 1925, opening in 1926. It’s a rather plain red brick structure with yellow brick accents. There’s a stage tower at the rear.
Judging by the storefront, this theatre was closed by the 1960’s. It has been converted into apartments.
Addresses are very haphazard. The NRHP listing gives this as 145, but 145 is in the next block, next to 206! The building just to the east is 134. I’ve gone with the address on the building.

The first appearance of the Sophia Theatre (and the town of Sophia) in the FDY is in the 1927 edition. The most likely opening year for the house is thus 1926.
