Located in Atherstone, Warwickshire. The King’s Hall Picture Palace was opened by 1912. The cinema operated on the ground floor of the building. Upstairs on the first floor was a box-making factory. The King’s Hall Picture Palace screened films and presented live acts on its stage. In August 1912 the floor of the first floor level collapsed into the cinema. Luckily, no one was seriously injured. The cinema never reopened.
