The Central Six was opened by Cineplex Cinemas (of Texas, not Canada) on December 16, 1983 and taken over by Cinemark in 1986 and later by Silver Theatres and Premiere Theaters Corp. who closed it in 2005. It remains standing as of September 2022 according to Google Street View.
