San Pedro Drive-In

The San Pedro Drive-In was opened in late-1953 or early-1954. It was operated by Tito Sandoval and Amulfo Gonzales. It was listed as an ‘Auditorium’ type drive-in theatre. It screened programs of dual-language double features. The San Pedro Drive-In was still open in 1960, but had closed by 1962.

It’s present in a 1956 aerial photo, its now a vacant lot, nothing remains.

In 2011, the property was the home of SOLT Holy Family Formation Center with several buildings on the property.

They were all torn down and removed by 2016. The only thing left apart from the foundations is remnants of the entrance road. The same one created by the drive-in.
