The Texas Theatre was not listed in the Film Daily Yearbook editions until 1934 when it was listed as a (Closed) silent movie theatre. Initially it had a seating capacity for 225, but this was increased to 395-seats by 1941 when it was operated by Robb & Rowley-United Inc. By 1957 it was operated by Rowley United Theatres Inc.
