The Main Street Theatre was opened by May of 1912. The 1914-1915 edition of American Motion Picture Directory gave an address of 39 Union Street (which is in a residential section of the street). There is a brick building at the top of Union Street, close to the junction with E. Main Street which may be the former theatre? The Main Street Theatre had closed by 1926.

The Westfield Republican of May 2, 1912, mentions the Main Street Theatre, and the context makes clear that the house had been in operation for at least several weeks.
