The Cineplex 6 - The Concourse opened in the old Eaton’s store on July 4, 1980 by Cineplex as their 2nd location and first outside of Toronto. It closed on June 14, 1990 as its miniplex screen proved unpopular. Since demolished and apartment block named Lofts at 276 now stands on the site.
