Shamrock Cinema
Plymouth

Opened Thursday April 29, 1971, the first film was “Airport” a day later. Each night at the Shamrock Cinema has a theme. Not just a movie theater, they hosted School Graduation ceremonies, and concerts. They tailed off movies during the 1980’s and became more of a hosting venue. By 1989, it was closed.
After the volcano erupted in August 1997, the Shamrock Cinema has been buried in an avalanche of ash. The town of Plymouth has been abandoned and is a ghost town
