The Central Opera House was opened in the late-1800’s. It was listed in the 1914-1915 edition of American Motion Picture Directory as the Central Theatre. By 1926 it was listed in the Film Daily Yearbook as the Central Opera House with 800 seats.
It was destroyed in a fire in 1957.
